If you had the chance to make a difference, wouldn’t you?

In 2021, the PSG had the privilege of donating $5000 to Health Partners International of Canada (HPIC), enabling them to distribute $50,000 worth of medicine to a vulnerable global community. Through this partnership, the PSG was recently able to re-connect with our supporters and pack crates of life-saving medicine, which were sent out to Ukraine to help combat the crisis which they are currently facing.

Now you may be wondering, what is HPIC? HPIC is a Canadian charity that works globally to increase access to critical medicine and improve the health of vulnerable communities around the world. Through their partnerships with large Canadian pharmaceutical companies and NGOs from around the world, they are able to procure and distribute over 1 million donated medicines and supplies in 30+ countries every year.

Humanitarian Medical Kits are a key part of their mission, and on the evening of March 10, 2022 the PSG staff and our close supporters had the privilege to pack 10 medical kits which provide 6000 treatments for the people of Ukraine. Through this opportunity, not only did we get a chance to do important work and understand how the operations of HPIC work, but we also came to a realization.

A lot of the time we see instances like what is happening in Ukraine in the news but fail to realize we too can positively impact those suffering and make a difference in someone’s life. There are always opportunities where we can help those in need- one being supporting and donating to HPIC.

To date, with the help of their sponsors, donors, partners, and volunteers, HPIC has been able to positively impact the lives of over 30 million people around the world. Many are working to ensure no child suffers and no woman is left behind. Are you ready to join the fight?
