Liane Smith

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
M.Sc., PMP

Liane Smith is an experienced biopharma executive with global expertise in vaccine manufacturing. She is recognized for her collaborative leadership style, operational excellence, and commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Most recently, Liane supported the SANOFI mRNA Centre of Excellence, leading project management for technology transfer, strategic supply, and organizational performance initiatives, while also serving as an assessor for the Canada Foundation for Innovation’s Multidisciplinary Assessment Committee.

As Director General and Site Head of the Biologics Manufacturing Centre at the National Research Council Canada in Montreal, Liane was responsible for operationalizing the facility established to strengthen Canada’s domestic biomanufacturing capacity during the COVID-19 response.

Prior to this, Liane held senior leadership roles in contract manufacturing and at Sanofi, in vaccine development and commercial manufacturing.

Liane’s global experience includes consulting and presenting to the World Health Organization on innovative vaccine delivery technologies.

Shirley Tam

Shirley completed her Masters of Health Science at Ryerson University and has experience in nutrition-related research and knowledge translation methods. She is committed to professional learning and growth and is excited to be part of the professional development initiatives at the PSG.

Laura Bradshaw

MARKETING AND PROGRAMS SPECIALIST
B.Sc

Laura Bradshaw is a results-driven Marketing & Programs Specialist with over a decade of experience in project management, marketing strategy, and event coordination across corporate and technical environments. She brings a unique combination of technical and creative expertise, having spent more than 10 years supporting validation consulting projects and marketing initiatives for clients in the life sciences and technology sectors. Laura is recognized for her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver engaging marketing programs that strengthen brand visibility and client relationships. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science and Technology in Applied Biotechnology from York University and is passionate about delivering meaningful, well-executed programs that reflect organizational excellence.

A MESSAGE TO OUR MEMBERS, SPONSORS & PARTNERS

At PSG, we are closely following the developments of the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, we would like to reassure our members that it remains our priority to ensure that our events offer a safe and healthy learning environment to all involved. As a result of our commitment to our members, the PSG will be deferring all In-Class Training Sessions until further notice. If you are registered for an event durning this time, you will be notified personally about these changes by our office.

We are working hard with our partners to develop shared solutions. As much as possible, we will offer online training and events to ensure that our members can receive our services remotely. We will continue to monitor and reassess this situation and will provide updates as they become available.
