POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Managing Quality Control and Quality Assurance responsibilities for a dedicated portfolio of clients.
• Handling all product lot release activities including the review of master production documents to support GMP compliance.
• Performing GMP inspections to assess compliance with Canadian regulations and Hosting Health Canada GMP inspections.
• These are full-time salaried positions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate should have at least 10 years of Canadian experience in a related compliance or quality position with responsibilities for Biologics or OTC drug products. Candidates with at least 5 years of Canadian experience will be considered for NHP products. Candidates with 10 years of Canadian experience will be considered for a Senior Position.
• Candidate must have demonstrated ability to provide GMP Guidance and Interpretation with specific experience in Canadian Drug GMP and/or NHP GMP. Candidate must have solid understanding of the GMP and Establishment (Site) Licensing requirements.
• Candidate must have actual work experience in review of master production documents and lot release.
• Candidates should cite any experience with sterile manufacturing and/or sterile products.
• Candidate should have experience in preparation for Initial and Regular GMP Inspections.
• Candidate should have experience conducting third party audits.
• Candidate should have a general understanding of the Canadian Regulatory framework for drugs, medical devices, natural health products, and cosmetics.
• Minimum B.Sc., preferably with a major in chemistry or microbiology.
• Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills.
• Strong Computer skills.
