Pharmaceutical Sciences Group Inc. (PSG) Announces Nalini Satar as the Recipient of the
2024 Lifetime Achievement Award
MARKHAM, Ontario—Canadian non-profit Pharmaceutical Sciences Group Inc. (PSG) is proud to announce that Nalini Satar, Deputy Country Quality Head at Bayer Canada, will be the recipient of the prestigious 2024 PSG Lifetime Achievement Award. This honour will be presented at the upcoming 2nd Annual PSG Gala & Awards Ceremony, to be held on February 25, 2025, at C Banquets, 300 City Centre Dr, 12th floor, Mississauga.
PSG Executive Director Amanda Wright shared her thoughts on Nalini’s selection: “Through Nalini’s impressive tenure at Bayer, coupled with her recent work on self-branding and advocacy on DE&I initiatives, my team and I unanimously agreed that she is the perfect individual to honor with this prestigious award. Her leadership, influence, and dedication to empowering others truly set her apart.”
With more than 15 years of experience in GMP-compliant environments, Nalini Satar is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in global quality systems and cross-cultural team management.
Known for her practical approach and strong leadership skills, Nalini consistently drives technical excellence while simplifying processes and promoting innovation within her organization. Her ability to navigate complex challenges and bring diverse teams together has been a hallmark of her career.
An advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I), Nalini is a strong proponent of women’s leadership and gender equity, working to create inclusive environments where empowerment and professional growth thrive. In addition to her leadership in quality management, Nalini is also a champion for DE&I awareness, most recently leading efforts around self-branding and advancing diversity initiatives within her organization and beyond.
Nalini’s academic credentials further solidify her expertise. She holds a Master’s Degree in Quality Assurance from California State University, a Post Graduate Certificate in Pharma QA/QC from the Toronto Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology, and a
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Management from the University of the West Indies. Her commitment to continuous improvement and professional development makes her a standout figure in the pharmaceutical industry.
The PSG Lifetime Achievement Award has been presented since 2017 to individuals who have made significant contributions to the Canadian pharmaceutical industry. These leaders and innovators, including notable names like Charles Chee, Laura Saward, Mark Lievonen & Dr. Richard Bozzato, have demonstrated exceptional leadership and mentorship within their organizations and beyond.
