September 30, 2021 marks the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. This day honours the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. While we are all aware of the hardships which they have had to endure, most will never fully know or understand their true suffering.
As a national organization, the PSG stands in support with the Indigenous Community. As part of this commitment, we have donated $2500 to Ka Ni Kanichihk– an organization based out of Winnipeg Manitoba which provides education, job-skills training, support for women and families and mentorship in their local Indigenous Community.
As the healing journey continues, it is our hope that through support and recognition we can all help to pave the path for peace and comfort for the Canadian Indigenous Community.
