The PSG is an independent and self-supporting organization run by volunteers. All events are organized by volunteers who give their own time to provide PSG members with timely educational opportunities to advance their professional development. Whether professional or personal, there are many reasons to become a PSG volunteer. Volunteers have the opportunity to develop skills that they may not have had a chance to develop in their regular jobs, meet fellow members of the pharmaceutical industry and expand their professional and personal networks. Committees and the Board of Directors are composed of volunteers from the general membership who meet once a month in the evening at the PSG office.
Committee members are required to be PSG members and generally meet once per month (over teleconference and occasionally at the PSG Office).

Meet once a month to organize timely courses, seminars, and webinars in response to industry needs. Each committee member takes on the responsibility of organizing two-three courses a year. This consists of finding a speaker and fine tuning the topic.
PSG Conference Committee
Our conferences are our “flagship” events which we now hold twice per year. The committee meets once a month and each member takes on a role to secure presentations by prominent industry and government representatives and help organize an exhibition of services and equipment offered by suppliers to the pharmaceutical and related industries. Conferences usually take place in the Spring and Fall of each year.
Individuals on this committee are responsible for helping find contributors for the new PSG blog, helping improve the new website, and seeking out new advertising opportunities.
The PSG membership is critical to the organization. Committee members would be responsible for ensuring that the needs of the members are being met and they would also help find ways to attract new members to the organization. Seeking out new sponsors would also be a component of this committee.
Do you like planning and attending fun social events? This committee may be for you! Individuals would be responsible for helping plan social and networking events for PSG as well as events like the Job Fair which is usually held in conjunction with our conferences.
This committee of students and new graduates will provide their input on various PSG activities and will develop new initiatives specifically for student members of PSG. It is a great committee to join if you are looking to gain new contacts in the industry and still working towards completing your education.
